Pappa Soars to 4th Place Finish

Pappa used the heat race as a test and followed the field around the 5/8th mile oval in preparation for the feature event. He lined his black and yellow “Junior Jet” up in 22nd starting position in the 32 car Dirt Sportsman field. When the green flag dropped it was obvious to the packed house that the sophomore at nearby Columbia High School would be a force to be reckoned with this season. He darted his way through the field both high and low having some fans wondering why Brett Hearn was racing in the Sportsman Feature, but it was his 15 year old teammate that was putting on the show.

2015 Season Opener at Lebanon Valley Brings Runner-Up Finish For Pappa

Nassau, NY-(April 25th, 2015) Starting 4th in the field, Pappa quickly made his way up to  run wheel to wheel with second place, giving the leader time to open the gap up between himself and the Upstate Total Basement Finishing 20jr.

With just a few laps to go, he capitalized on lap cars, bringing himself within a few car lengths of first place. With 1 to go, a caution came out, setting him up for a pass down low, with a one lap dash to the finish. "..The car was real good down low, we had one of the quickest cars in the long runs, the green-checkered hurt us a bit.." said Pappa, ending up with a strong second place run.

Matt’s next race is Saturday, May 16th at Lebanon Valley Speedway. Stay tuned and follow Matt on Facebook

Lights Out, Flip and Flat Tire Makes for Wild Weekend for Pappa

Nassau, NY-(June 22, 2013) Two nights and two separate bizarre events were the highlights for Matt Pappa this weekend. “My guys were incredible,” said Pappa. “After seeing what the car looked like when we got back in the pits I thought no way will we race.”
